REGISTERING FOR TRIPS You can register at our agency office or via the internet. During registration, the user of the package signs a REGISTRATION AGREEMENT. This travel package agreement is considered binding after both parties sign it or otherwise confirm their agreement (e-mail, provision of a credit card number, paying all or a part of the package via direct transfer to the agency's business account). 2. RESERVATION AND PAYMENT During registration, travellers pay 30% of the package price to confirm their reservation (unless stated otherwise in the programme). The remainder of the price is to be paid either 15 days prior to the package start date. Reservation costs are not returned in case of cancellation. If there is no available space at the time you reserve, you can deposit HRK 200 for stand-by reservation expenses. If your reservation is confirmed, this deposit will be deducted from the price of the package. If we are unable to confirm your reservation, we shall return this deposit in full. In case of cancellation, the deposit amount of HRK 200 is used to cover reservation costs and is not returned. 3. CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELLER The traveller has the right to cancel a package in writing. The date of cancellation is the basis for the calculation of cancellation expenses: - up to 30 days prior to departure : 10 % of the package cost, minimum of HRK 100 - 29-22 days prior to departure : 30 % of the package cost - 21-15 days prior to departure : 40 % of the package cost - 14-8 days prior to departure : 80 % of the package cost - 7-0 days prior to departure : 100 % of the package cost If the traveller wishes to cancel the package during the trip, he/she has no right to any refund upon return. If the programme lists other cancellation conditions, the conditions shall be applied as stated in the programme. If the travelleris unable to travel for reasons beyond his/her control, he/she may choose a third party to use the reserved services in his/her place if the package organiser is informed of this decision in writing. The organiser shall accept a third party named as a replacement traveller if he/she fulfills all foreseen requirements and if there are no legal or other barriers that might prevent the third party from using the package. If the remainder of the price is not paid 15 days prior to the package start date or payment has not been assured otherwise, the traveller is considered to have cancelled the reservation, and the refund of reservation costs is no longer possible. 4. TRAVEL INSURANCE In accordance with the Travel Services Act, agency employees are required fo offer travellers a travel insurance package consisting of of: voluntary health insurance for the traveller's stay abroad, accident insurance, baggage insurance, and cancellation insurance. By signing the agreement, the traveller confirms that he/she has been offered a travel insurance package. CANCELLATION INSURANCE If, when registering, the traveller believes that circumstances may require that he/she cancel the trip, we recommend the purchase of a cancellation insurance policy. Cancellation insurance must be purchased during registration, and cannot be purchased after this point. Cancellation insurance is valid only in the following cases with written confirmation: activation of military status, illness, death in the immediate family. During package cancellation, visa expenses are not refunded. By purchasing a cancellation insurance policy, the traveller defers all expenses to the insurance company, which usually returns 90% of the paid package price. 5. PRICES Programme prices are stated in Croatian kuna, and they are valid as of the day the programme is published. The organiser retains the right to change the published prices in the case of changes in service prices or in the case of extraordinary circumstances (change in exchange rate, change in transport prices, etc), in which case the traveller shall be informed of such changes in a timely manner. 6. PROGRAMME USER (TRAVELLER) OBLIGATIONS Upon registration, the programme user is required to provide the organiser the data and documents necessary to organise the programme. The traveller is required to care for his/her documents and belongings, and is personally responsible for ensuring that his/her documents and baggage fulfil all requirements foreseen by the customs, health, and other administrative regulations of his/her own country and the destination country. 7. RIGHT OF THE ORGANISER TO CANCEL THE TRIP On the basis of currently valid law, DMK Vall 042 d.o.o. travel agency retains the right to cancel packages 10 days before the travel date at the latest in the case of an insufficient number of registered travellers. It can also cancel a programme in full or in part if, prior to or during the trip, unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances transpire. 8. INSOLVENCY DMK Vall 042 d.o.o., as the organiser of travel packages, posesses insurance in the case of insolvency. Croatia osiguranje d.d. guarantees that, in accordance with the Travel Services Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia, NN 8/96), travellers shall be refunded: the price of the trip, if the insured is unable to pay for travel services or becomes insolvent; and expenses incurred to return the traveller to the place of departure due to the insured's insolvency or inability to pay for travel services. In the case of the Organiser's insolvency or inability to pay, travellers who become stranded should immediately contact Croatia osiguranje d.d.'s office at 22 Miramarska street in Zagreb either in person or by telephone at +385 (1) 6333 170. This document enables travellers to directly exercise their right to indemnity for incurred costs. 9. LIABILITY INSURANCE DMK Vall 042 d.o.o. travel agency possesses a liability insurance policy from CROATIA OSIGURANJE d.d. Vara~din, policy no. 078700018387. COMPLAINTS If programme services are provided poorly or are not fully provided, the traveller has the right to file a written complaint 8 days after the completion of the trip at the latest. We emphasise that it is in the interest of the traveller to register any complaint immediately directly to the service provider. If the traveller does not accept a solution to the complaint offered on the spot that corresponds to the services paid for, the organiser will not accept any complaint filed after the fact.
