Since 2012 numerous disc golfers from across Europe and other continents gather in Varaždin to play Drava Forester tournament.
The tournament is played in three days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) with one round of 21holes per day. For all players who want to take part in the tournament with less pressure, the Beer Forester, a separate recreational two-day tournament, is organised with one round of play per day.
Drava Forester package for 2021 is not yet ready.
Until it's finalized you can use the 2023 package price for general info - the package was ~ € 330 and included:
- 5 x bed and breakfast in Turist Hotel in Varazdin in double standard rooms (extra charge for premium rooms and single rooms)
- the cost of organizing the tournament
- players package souvenir
- transfers from the hotel to the course and back on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- lunches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- dinner at the hotel on Wednesday
- team building program on Wednesday
- Late evening meal (sandwiches, snacks, rolls) on Thursday
- Friday dinner at Bedem Restaurant, roasted chestnuts and mulled wine
- dinner at the hotel on Saturday
- Halloween make up on Saturday
- entertaining evening program at the hotel on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday
- participation in all accompanying contents / games (putting, parkit !, king oft he table, etc.)
- preparation and organization and liability insurance for the package
The package does not include:
- Thursday lunch
- Thursday dinner
- other meals or contents not listed by "price includes"
Additional charge:
- accommodation in a double superior room, 5 nights ~ 38 € per person
- accommodation in single standard room, 5 nights ~ 40 € per person
- accommodation in single superior room, 5 nights ~ 70 € per person
The travel package organiser is DMK Vall 042 travel agency and the tournament organiser is Lagoda j.d.o.o. The tournament is held with support from the city of Varaždin and the Varaždin Tourist Board. The tournament director is Dinko Šimenc.
